USA and England tempt Tipster
Friday means one thing in betting and that is the arrival of Planet Rugby's own Mr Mathematics, Ben Hathaway.
He has already got off on the right foot yesterday by backing South Africa to defeat Namibia by more than the 59.5 point handicap suggested, so let us see if Australia against the United States and the other weekend action follows suit.
Plenty on the line as we wipe the slate clean with our Tipster looking to make you some extra cash
Aus are 1.5 for -46.5 pts
David Pocock is ruled out - comfortably their most influential player - while Digby Ioane still missing. Quade Cooper is not playing very well either and was woeful against Ireland. And while Nathan Sharpe is back, I see value in the lay on this game. I'm a layer at this price to be honest - they have included Scott Higginbotham, who is a quality player, and I think USA will concede a few but 46.5 is a lot and with Aus at 1.5 this seems madness not to lay. It's odds on they will get some but no way 1.5 range. USA aren't that bad.
Usually bearish on England - here I think they could cut loose. Georgia are a lot better than Romania. Big pack but not much else and the decent players in their pack, Marius Tincu aside, don't offer much. I'm saying a good win for England but can't see decent prices yet.
Anything is possible, it's France. This isn't a second-string as the papers claim but I fancy NZ to put a few on them. I'm struggling to gauge value here, and so there is no way will I be placing anything of much size. Says he who blew a LOT on them not putting 33 on Canada.
